The Game of Life

I heard this today and it resonated with me so much that I decided to share in a short post.

Life is like a game of chess. You make your move, somebody else makes theirs. Some pieces fall, others don’t. Everything is in constant motion. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. Remember that life is beautiful and everybody experiences it differently, but at the end of the game, the king and the pawn go back into the same box.

Great post, one thing is for sure, I’m done with having to be the opponent in a game I no longer wish to play so, I quit, but ironically I don’t feel like I’ve lost. Moving on from the mental abuse leaves me free from all the chains that bound me to HIS game. Freedom is breathtakingly beautiful and I have no desire to ever go back to him, or anyone else for that matter. I’m going to cherish every day of freedom from now on. Su x

  4. Interesting concept except, But, I believe that life is so much more than just a game. We all have a purpose in life and we all should pursue that purpose with a few things in mind : We should always seek to Be a treasure, Earn a Treasure, Make a Treasure, Give a Treasure, Witness a Treasure, and Embrace a Treasure.ā€ Give something of yourself back to others

  6. As I looked around, this one caught my eye. This resonates with the subject of my blog site with perhaps one difference. I agree this earthly life goes back into the box, but I thinketh my soul doth not. Know what I mean? šŸ™‚ Thanks for visiting my site.
